BMKG: Beware of Light-Heavy Rain in Jabodetabek Today

Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Board (BMKG) predicted light-heavy rain to fall Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) starting this afternoon till night.

"In the morning is mostly cloudy and light rain to fall Bogor," said Hary T. Djatmiko, Head Division of BMKG's Public Relation, Wednesday (4/12).

In the afternoon, light rain will fall Seribu Islands, all Jakarta regions, and Bekasi. While moderate rain will fall Depok, Tangerang, and Bogor.

Rain to Fall Jabodetabek Afternoon to Night

At night, light rain will fall Seribu Islands, all Jakarta regions, and Bekasi. Moderate rain will fall Depok and Tangerang, while heavy rain will fall Bogor.

At dawn, light rain is predicted to fall Seribu Islands, North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, Tangerang, and Bekasi. While moderate rain will fall South Jakarta, East Jakarta, Depok, and Bogor.

"Beware of moderate-heavy rain with lightning and strong wind to happen in South Jakarta, East Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi, and Bogor between afternoon till dawn," he closed.

For information, Jakarta's temperature today could reach 22-33 Celcius degree with humidity around 65-95 percent and south-west wind velocity that could reach 05-27 kilometers per hour.
